Source note

The galleries (nine visit dates) are offline. This page reflects only what surviving captions said.

January and February

A second garage row was going up on 6 January and a third row's foundations were being worked on, with waterproofing wrap on a home foundation. Roof trusses went onto the second row by 23 January. In February the control system was being commissioned and the mechanical room of the Energy Centre was called complete. By 23 February a display window had been added and the first-phase homes were being built.

May

On 4 May the captions covered the Energy Centre building, the show homes and the storage field. By 13 May the second and third garage rows were nearly done, with panels sitting on the second row. The solar collection page explains how each row was meant to work.

September

Landscaping began over the boreholes on 18 September, domestic hot water piping was visible in house walls, and collector work continued from a lift. By 26 September the first row of 12 homes and the second row of 14 were described as complete, the third row of houses was under construction and a fourth row of garages was going up. See homes for the finished houses and 2007 for what came next.
